Floral Crown

Floralcrown
Lately i have been obsessed with floral crowns, they are so pretty. I was looking around and found a great tutorial on how to make your own. The blogger is bluebird, and she made a great step by step tutorial on how to make one http://bleubirdvintage.typepad.com/blog/2011/03/diy-flower-crown.html
It is really simple and cheap to make, i made one today and i love it. You can find all of the materials at your local craft store, all you need is fake flowers, wire, pliers and ribbon/floral tape.

Here is one i made myself, it only took me about 15 minutes. Have fun, and if you decide to make one please send me a photo, i would love to see what you created (:

Rimmel London Creme Gel Foundation Review

I've been wanting to get new foundation for a while, so i decided to try out the new Rimmel London Creme Gel Foundation. I have only really worn it once but so far i'm loving it. I bought it from Target, here in Australia it is $17.95, and it came with a free foundation brush. I got it in the colour Ivory 100, whish is the lightest, usually i don't buy the lightest shade but it is winter here so at the moment my skin is pretty light, and it matches my skin tone perfectly. When I first opened the jar, I was greeted with the smell of the foundation. It smells gorgeous! I'm not so sure what the fragrance is, but it is not overpowering or distracting. Looking at the foundation, it has a cream/mousse-like texture which looks rather thick (although it's not!). I didn't need very much to cover my face and when i first put it on it felt like moisturizer, and so lightweight on my skin, it looks really natural and doesn't cake and flake like some other foundations. I am really pleased with this foundation so far, and i think it will definitely be great in summer.

Lets Make Some Rice Krispies!

So today i decided i would make some rice krispie treats. I decided to take some pictures and show you's how to do it, it's really simple and all you need is a packet of rice bubbles, a packet of marshmellows, some butter or margarine, a saucepan and a baking tray

 1. Add 6 cups of rice bubbles to a large bowl

 2. Add 1/4 cup of butter/margarine to a saucepan and melt on low

3. Add 40 (a packet) marshmellows to the saucepan and melt with the butter/margarine

4. Add the Marshmellow and butter/margarine mixture to the rice bubbles and mix

 5. Put the Mixture into the baking try and firmly press it down with a knife. Put in the fridge until it has cooled down, then cut up and serve (:

Hope everyone is having a great day, happy sunday
